The eldest of the Cabri family: nearly 19 years old.

At the sanctuary since 2018

Amiga is the eldest of the Cabri family: at 18 years old, heading towards 19, she continues to live happily in a peaceful and well-cared-for old age, very much loved.

She arrived at the sanctuary in the spring of 2018. She had been used her entire life as a nurse goat on a sheep farm: when mother sheep rejected their offspring, they would use Amiga to feed them. After an accident in which she lost the sight of her left eye, and as her milk production declined with age, the shepherd gave her to the sanctuary so she could live out her remaining years in peace and happiness. We are grateful to our friend and collaborator Cris, who fought hard to make this possible.
