Back to goats

At the sanctuary since 2020

Gisela was rescued during the pandemic by Amanda, a trainee vet and passionate animal lover, and her mother. A neighbour of theirs had a herd of 30 goats he could no longer maintain, and they were headed for the slaughterhouse. Amanda took them all on: she neutered them, treated them in many cases and found a permanent home for each one across Spain.

Gisela arrived at the sanctuary with her biological son, Edu, and her adopted baby, Wilson, whose own mother had passed away. The Copito de Nieve family, as we call them, arrived in August 2020, and have been living happily and safely with us ever since.

You can sponsor Gisela from 10 € a month.
