At the sanctuary since 2016
Lucía arrived at the sanctuary in 2016 with her son, Chulapo. They lived at a farm school in Murcia that closed; the owner began giving the animals away, and anyone he couldn’t rehome was destined for slaughter. A neighbour rescued them, and we took care of both the mother and baby.
They are dwarf goats, and although they are smaller than the rest of our family, they manage perfectly well. Mother and son are inseparable: wherever Lucía goes, Chulapo is always right by her side.
